How honest do I need to be in a particular interview? I come with an ethical question about honesty in any job interview. I don't mean honesty as to facts about your resume. I mean honesty regarding what my the case feelings and motivations are upto a certain job. I'm trying to jumpstart a livelihood in accounting. I recently graduated with a particular accounting degree as well as passed the CPA audit. I have had a hard time finding a decent CPA firm to get on with. However, there are several that I want to work for i always think would use me next the summer season or fall. But in the meantime I need to settle the bills. A problem So i'm having however is that most employers hiring want you to definitely fill a job for the long term (a couple involving years at least). They are very wary from hiring someone like me as they quite simply think I will leave whenever I get an offer originating from a CPA firm. For knock off recipe the very good reason that i would. I'm starting to feel very motivated to inform employers that I'm not really interested in CPA firms and that also the job they've been hiring for can be my dream work. In essence, Lie. What's my meaningful obligation here? I feel bad about rendering employers the run around regarding my true reasons. On the alternative hand, I have grown to be growingly cynical about employers as a rule. My experience by using previous employers is that they are very morally lacking in their own suitable. In the jobs I've had that As i was involuntarily let go, I got at best days find. It had nothing to do with my work, they just "suddenly" didn't have the budget for everybody. Its clear to me that the moment morality doesn't conflict with their bottom line, morality takes a back seat. But I'm essentially running my own business. Its erectile dysfunction Me. And I have my own final conclusion to worry around. And as far when i can see, I will only be for money rewarded for laying to employers at this time about my goals. I would primarily quit a job at this point when I find a firm offer with the aforementioned CPA firms will be that work experience alone which will get me good jobs and after that. I have only something to achieve and nothing to not win financially by untruthful. Any thoughts?
